나의 작업은 기능성에 뿌리를 두고 있지만, 기능성 때문에 제약을 받지는 않는다. 나는 음식을 담는 용기를 만들지만, 나의 작품이 단순히 쓰임새가 있는 접시나 대접은 아니다. 나의 식기는 특별한 식사를 대접하는 식탁에만 놓여지는 명품 느낌의 우아한 작품이다.

My work is rooted in functionality, but it is not limited by it. Although the pieces I create are vessels for serving food, they are not simply utilitarian plates or bowls. They are intricate objects that invoke a sense of luxury, brought onto the dining table only for extraordinary meals.
